Home is a feeling 2021

Kent based artists, makers and designers exhibited their work in an exhibition where art was shown as part of everyday life. All works were presented in situ, in a room transformed into a living space.
With furniture, paintings, ceramics, tableware, soft furnishing, jewellery etc...the exhibition highlighted how much art and design we have in our homes.
We are surrounded by art and yet many people do not realise how much there is and what a big impact it has on our environment and on our mood.

The show took place at the Victorian Alexander Centre in Faversham
Saturday 13th & Sunday 14th November
10am- 4pm.

A new kind of newspaper for and about Faversham.

Kent & London based Salt bring their expertise in brand design to the creative community – to develop personal brands, to launch websites, to open online stores and to attract customers.

Stella & Victoria say “We’re proud to have supported Kent Creative since 2016, and share their aim to nurture talent, elevate art and create communities. The ‘Home is a Feeling’ show is a fantastic showcase for creatives of all kinds, and we’re pleased to see one of our clients taking part.

Working with artists and makers has given us a deeper understanding and appreciation of what they do and how their work can enhance our lives and surroundings. When you are invested in an artist, owning a ‘part of them’ means something on a deeper level, and that experience is different for everyone – which makes it so exciting!”

Award winning Estate Agents based in Sittingbourne.

We are delighted to be sponsoring the “Home is a Feeling” exhibition. We use the phrase “A house is a building, a home is a feeling” in our business all the time. It’s something we believe, it is people and how they live that makes a house a home. The idea of celebrating the home through art and design and highlighting how art can transform a house into a home is something we are very excited to see”.

The Whitstable based architecture practice works throughout East Kent helping people to create new spaces in existing homes as well as designing new homes.
They run a novel scheme where a potential client pays one of Spacemaker’s favourite charities £40 in return for a one hour, no obligation, consultation with one of their architects.

Marketing Partner, Catriona Campbell says: “We are delighted to be sponsoring the “Home is a Feeling” exhibition. Helping people turn their houses into homes that will give them pleasure and where they will feel content is at the heart of our work. It’s also great to be associated with the wonderful array of creative people who will be exhibiting.”
