The programme of the day:
In the words of the book’s fly sheet, “Paul Dodgson is a writer, musician, teacher and radio producer who has written many plays and stories for BBC Radio 4, drama and documentaries for BBC 2 and Eastenders for BBC 1.
He’s written theatre plays for young people and music and lyrics for five musicals.
Paul has made hundreds of programmes for all BBC Radio networks and taught creative writing around the world.
In 2016, after 34 years of regret and stage fright, Paul became a singer/songwriter and went out “on the road not taken”. His book is an account of his journey and the power of music”.
Paul grew up in Hythe and was educated at The Harvey Grammar School before moving on to university. We are so pleased he has agreed to take time out of his busy life to be with us to tell his story and discuss the power of collaboration.
If you are an artist/photographer/sculptor/print-maker whatever your medium, would like to know more and how to submit, this is a must of a meeting.
FREE. Just turn up and introduce yourself.
We only ask that you buy a tea or coffee to support our generous venue who allows us to meet FOC.
If anyone would like to use our meetings as an opportunity to educate, explain and describe their skills, business or services please contact Bev Saunders or Clare Hamilton to book a meeting date.
